The University of California, Davis’ Audit and Management Advisory Services (AMAS) today released its independent audit of the financial records related to the NCAA Division I Women’s Equestrian program, which transitioned to a club sport on July 1, 2026.

Message Regarding Recent Disruptions to the Academic Mission

On May 28, the first day of a stand-up strike called by the United Auto Workers, unauthorized individuals entered classrooms and Shields Library on the 51�ԹϺ�� Davis campus, disrupting the learning environment and causing discomfort among some students and instructors.

May 15 51�ԹϺ�� Davis Statement on Student Encampment

On Monday, May 13, 51�ԹϺ�� Davis leaders met with students representing the encampment, known as PULP (Popular University for the Liberation of Palestine), on the Memorial Union Quad. Campus leaders expressed appreciation for the students’ efforts to keep the encampment safe and peaceful and listened to the students’ concerns about the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

51�ԹϺ�� Davis leaders said the conversation was productive and that they will continue to engage with the students about issues they are raising.
