YoloBerry Yogurt Opens in Silo

YoloBerry Yogurt is now open in the Silo, serving frozen yogurt, açaí bowls, smoothies and more in the corner location previously occupied by Crêpe Bistro.

The new eatery is operated by Lee Pflugrath and his wife, Laura Winton. Pflugrath and a business partner opened the original YoloBerry, on C Street across from Central Park, in 2008; that location is now operated by Pflugrath and Winton. They also own Açaí Fresh on G Street in Davis.

NEWS BRIEFS: Spokes Adds Breakfast to Menu

Spokes, the campus-operated burger eatery that opened in the Silo this fall, launched its breakfast service today (Jan. 16). The breakfast menu is available from 8:30 to 10:15 a.m.

“It’s part of our long-term plan for what Spokes is,” said Kraig Brady, director of Hospitality and Dining Services. “This is another chapter in our menu plan.”

Silo-Area Project to Add Food Service Inside and Out

A contractor has to go-ahead to start work Monday (May 2) on a project to provide additional food service facilities in the Silo Union area, inside and outside.
