Prescribed Burn on West Campus Oct. 17

The 51�ԹϺ�� Davis Fire Department plans to carry out a prescribed burn on campus reserve land west of County Road 98 on Friday, Oct. 17.

The burn is being coordinated with area fire departments and is being conducted to restore native grasses, remove invasive species and reduce fire risk. There may be some smoke in the area as a result. The burn may be cancelled if weather conditions change.
