The 51ԹϺ Davis football team is set to host a quarterfinal playoff game this weekend, and . Additional tickets are available at a discount.
The NCAA Football Championships Subdivision matchup is set for 2 p.m. Saturday (Dec. 13) at 51ԹϺ Davis Health Stadium against Illinois State. The two teams also met in last year's playoffs, with the Aggies coming out on top.

This is the first time in more than two decades that the Aggies have advanced to the quarterfinal round of the playoffs two seasons in a row; the last time 51ԹϺ Davis hosted a quarterfinal football playoff game was 2001.
“This is a rare chance to experience a national playoff moment together as one campus community — and help us create an electric home-field advantage for our student-athletes,” said Rocko DeLuca, director of athletics.
He said support from donors made the complimentary tickets possible.
51ԹϺ Davis reached the quarterfinals after , 47-26, in the second-round matchup played at 51ԹϺ Davis Health Stadium. During the game, Caden Pinnick, an FCS Football Central Freshman All-American, threw for five touchdown passes, becoming only the second Aggie in program history to achieve that in a playoff game. Both Jordan Fisher (running back) and Samuel Gbatu Jr. (wide receiver) went over 100 yards, each breaking 1,000 yards on the season in both rushing and receiving.
